Job Description
Fun & Friends provides child care to children K-8 at 3 different locations: Washington Educational Services Building in Brainerd, Baxter Elementary, and Nisswa Elementary. The primary purpose of this position is to provide students with a safe, fun, and enriching summer program. As a Program Assistant, you will regularly supervise a group of children, interact and engage with the children, and prepare and lead activities, such as arts & crafts, sports, science experiments, field trips, and more. Enjoy a fun summer working with kids! Qualifications: - Must be 16 or older - Must complete and pass a background check - Ability to mediate, problem solve, and redirect students in a positive way - Support students and serve as a role model - Must be willing to obtain CPR & First Aid certification Hourly rate starts at $12.50/hr. Staff are scheduled 30 hours a week between the hours of 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or evenings! A bonus opportunity will be available to staff who work this summer!
