About
Advance Standing courses offer credit toward a Career and Technical Program at CLC.These Agreements (aka Tech Prep) form an arrangement between a high school and Central Lakes College (CLC), where high school Career/Technical Education (CTE) courses count for college credit at CLC. Advanced Standing courses are taught by high school instructors. College credit is obtained when the college receives the student?s certificate of completion and high school transcript for the high school Advanced Standing course.
Criteria for eligibility: student must earn a B or higher in the CTE class to earn college credit. Advanced
Standing Credit needs to be requested during CLC?s admission process and prior to registration.
