Opened in 1898, Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort is the oldest continually owned family resort in the state, making it Minnesota’s original family resort. Ruttger’s is a traditional, cozy, up north family lake resort where guests feel at home, relaxed and comfortable because they are treated like family; not a customer. It’s a 122-year Ruttger’s tradition.
Enjoy s’mores by the bonfire, two picturesque golf courses, a full marina, a salon and spa, three restaurants, two bars, shopping, a coffee shop, and more, plus incredible fishing, boating, and water recreation. Ruttger’s is the closest full-service resort to the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area and their world-famous mountain biking and hiking trails.
